Scholarship Details

The Centrally Sponsored Scheme ‘National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)’ was launched to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue study at secondary stage.

Under this scheme, 100,000 scholarships are awarded annually to selected students of class IX and its continuance in classes X to XII in State Government, Government-aided and local body schools.

Eligibility Criteria

Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than ₹3,50,000/- per annum and studying in Class 9 after clearing qualifying test.
